Langoustines and Loch Nessie at the Three Chimneys

We went up to the Isle of Skye last week for dinner. It was a bit of a long way to go for supper, I grant you, but once there the dinner was well worth the trip.
We splashed out and had the taster menu and I had to post this picture of the starter as we had just driven past Loch Ness on the way up and thought it very appropriate  -and very delicious!
The langoustines tasted as though they had just jumped onto the plate and the head was filled with a delicious  ‘palate cleansing’ concoction. The presentation gave us a good laugh as well.
So if you are ever on Skye look up the Three Chimneys, it really is worth a visit!
